Description
Small handmade bowl made using a porcelain stoneware mix clay, imprinted with a lace doily and fired to a top temperature of 1200 degrees. The underside has been left raw and unglazed.
approx 11 cm diameter
My work is imperfect by design and shows my dislike of symmetry and will likely have irregular sides or the occasional finger print or lump/bump … I see this as character and it sets a piece aside form factory produced ceramics.
Inam local to Cirencester and I’m happy to offer collection, 2nd class post or maybe delivery.
About Seller
I am a Cirencester based ceramicist offering handmade homewares and gifts.
I’m lucky enough to have a workshop and kiln in my garden meaning that I get to spend as much time playing with clay as I wish, working around my part time day job and family. My pieces reflect my dislike of symmetry and perfection with no two pieces being identical. If you would like to discuss a variation of something you see here, colours/sizes etc - please just drop me an email.
